A rare I-O psychologist who also writes code, Richard sits where psychometric science meets AI. He leads the field's thinking on how games, gamification, machine learning and virtual reality can improve assessment, selection and learning, and does it with scientific rigor. Through Landers Workforce Science LLC, he audits AI-powered hiring, promotion and training systems, holding algorithms to psychological standards. He now leads SIOP, the 10,000-member professional body for I-O psychologists, with a focus on uniting scientists and practitioners across the field.
