Content Guidelines

Now that you know our audience, here is what we expect. Write for them like you’re their best friend who knows all the insider secrets.

Our content guidelines focus on ensuring that all guest blog contributions are valuable, insightful, and relevant to our audience.

  • Be Helpful, Cut the Promotion : Keep it relevant and classy. We love a good story, but let’s keep the “Buy my amazing product!” pitch out of it. If it sounds and reads like an ad, it’s probably a “no” from us.
  • Originality: Copy-pasting? Plagiarism? That’s a big NO. We want your unique voice, experiences, and ideas. (And no, we don’t accept AI-written blogs—robots have enough jobs already.) All content must be original and unpublished elsewhere.
  • Word Count: Keep it insightful. It can be anywhere between 600- 1,500 words.
  • Tone: Friendly, conversational, and professional. Imagine you’re explaining complex recruitment trends to a smart 12-year-old (no jargon, please).
  • Formatting: Our readers appreciate easy-on-the-eyes content. Organize your content using clear headers (H2, H3) to break down the text into digestible sections. Break up those text with headers, bullet points, and lists.
  • Data and Research: We encourage the inclusion of data, insights and research findings to support your claims. Any external data should be properly attributed. Please ensure that the data you use is from reliable and reputable sources.

Backlink Guidelines

We get it—you want to add some links. We’re cool with that. But before you start typing away, let’s make one thing crystal clear: No CBD / crypto / casino content. None. Zero.

A few quick rules:

  1. No sneaky links to product pages or gated content. Keep it relevant, useful, and high-quality (just like your blog).
  2. Links: 1-2 do-follow links.
  3. Link Quality: We only accept links meeting the following conditions -
The websites you link to should meet the following criteria:
    • Domain Authority (DA): The website’s DA should be higher than or equal to 40.
    • Domain Rating (DR): The website’s DR should be equal to or greater than 40
    • Spam Score: The website should have a spam score of less than or equal to 3%.
    • Domain Age: The domain should be at least 2 years old.
    • Content Frequency: The website should publish content at least twice a month.
  4. Linking to Category Pages: If you are linking to category pages, ensure that the page authority (PA) of the website is high enough to support SEO efforts. We do not accept links from category pages with low PA.
  5. Anchor Text: Make sure the anchor text matches the content it links to and genuinely helps the reader. Skip overused short-tail keywords. For example: instead of “Interview Questions”, go for something like “Top Interview Questions for Project Manager”

Editorial Rights

  • Editorial Control: Our editors may edit or tweak your content. If you’re okay with a bit of polish, we’re good to go. Also, once it’s published, it’s ours—no reposting elsewhere, please. Sharing on social media? By all means, shout it from the rooftops!
  • Exclusivity: Content published on Xobin’s blog must not be republished on other websites, including your personal or company blog, LinkedIn, Medium, or any other platform.

Termination of Collaboration

  • Breach of Terms: Submitting plagiarized, AI-generated, or overly promotional content? Sorry, that’s grounds for immediate termination.
  • Non-Compliance: Missed deadlines or no response for 2 weeks? We may have to part ways.

No Guarantee of Publication

  • Publication Isn’t Guaranteed: We value your submissions, but relevance, editorial needs, and our schedule will decide if it gets published.
  • Editorial Discretion: Published articles may be updated or removed as needed—our editorial team has the final say.

Content Review and Approval

Once your article is submitted, it will undergo a thorough review process. Our editorial team reserves the right to make changes to the content, including:

  • Removing Promotional Content: Any content that is overly promotional or biased towards a particular product or service will be revised or removed.
  • Link Evaluation: We will evaluate the external links included in your article based on our backlink guidelines.
  • SEO Optimization: We may make minor adjustments to the content to ensure it aligns with current SEO best practices.
