Jeffrey M. Stanton, Ph.D.

A SIOP Fellow credited with expanding I/O psychology beyond its traditional boundaries, Jeffrey bridges psychometrics, data science and information studies. His work spans employee surveys, measurement development and cybersecurity behavior, and now extends to AI-assisted scale evaluation. Over 25 years at Syracuse University, Jeffrey rose from assistant professor to Interim Dean of the iSchool and Associate Provost for Academic Affairs, and was selected as a National Science Foundation program director in 2024. His textbooks, including the open-source Introduction to Data Science, have shaped how a generation learns to reason with data.
