Amy DuVernet

Amy DuVernet brings rare scientific rigor to the L&D profession. An industrial-organizational psychologist by training, she pairs evidence-based research with commercial leadership, heading Training Industry's global learning products business from strategy and design through sales and delivery. Amy leads Training Industry's courses for L&D professionals, including the Certified Professional in Training Management (CPTM) program, which has produced close to 3,000 graduates and helped raise professional standards in the field. Earlier, she designed and evaluated selection and training systems for Fortune 500 organizations in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, telecommunications, law enforcement, and government. Her published research on training effectiveness and leadership development continues to inform L&D best practice.
