Introducing AI Interview Auditor: A Second Check on AI Interviews
Our new AI Interview Auditor reviews AI-conducted interviews, flags weak or inconsistent evaluations, and gives every report a quality badge and scorecard so hiring teams know when to trust the result.

TL;DR: Our new AI Interview Auditor acts as a second reviewer for AI-led interviews. It looks back over each AI interview, checks the questions, the evaluation and the evidence behind the scores, and attaches a quality badge, a short scorecard and plain-language flags to the report so recruiters know which interviews they can rely on and which need a human look.
AI interviewers now handle a growing share of early-stage screening. They can talk to hundreds of candidates in a day, score their answers and recommend who moves forward. That speed raises an uncomfortable question for hiring teams: if the AI is doing the interviewing, who confirms that it did the job well?
That is why we built AI Interview Auditor, a new AI agent that reviews interviews conducted by AI. Rather than replacing the interviewer, it sits one step behind it and examines how each conversation was run and judged.
What the auditor looks at
The auditor reads through the AI interview conversation and tests it against a set of practical checks:
- Were the questions relevant to the role being hired for?
- Were the candidate's answers evaluated properly?
- Was any important information missed?
- Does the evaluation actually match what was said in the interview?
- Are the final scores and recommendations backed by evidence?
The thinking behind it is that automation alone is not enough. An AI interview should be something a hiring team can audit, not just a result they have to accept.
What recruiters see in the report
Every AI interview report now includes three additions:
- A quality badge that shows whether the interview met our quality standards.
- A short scorecard summarising how the interview performed against the checks.
- Plain-language flags that point to sessions needing attention, for example when an interview had long delays or when a candidate tried to steer the AI off topic.
This lets recruiters spot inconsistencies quickly and focus human review where it matters, instead of trusting every AI conclusion by default. Flagged audit reports are also reviewed by our in-house team, and those reviews feed back into improving both the auditor and the AI interviewer.
Two layers: one assesses candidates, one assesses the AI
AI Interview Auditor extends our existing Guided AI Interviews, which evaluate candidates through structured, interactive conversations led by AI. Those interviews can already measure newer, AI-era skills such as AI fluency, prompt engineering and vibe coding.
Using our real-time prompt editor, candidates show how they work with AI in practice: how they write and refine prompts and how they tackle hands-on problems. For software roles, employers can see how a candidate uses AI-assisted coding tools, rather than relying only on traditional coding questions or theory.
The split is straightforward. Guided AI Interviews assess the candidate. AI Interview Auditor assesses the quality and reliability of the AI interviewer's judgement.
Why accountability matters in AI hiring
Our Founder and CEO, Guruprakash Sivabalan, framed the launch around trust: "AI is increasingly being trusted to interview candidates and recommend who should move forward. But who is checking whether the AI got it right?"
He added: "We believe the future of AI hiring requires more than automation. It requires accountability. Every AI interview should be explainable, reviewable, and supported by evidence."
