Where does the webhook URL come from?

Xobin generates it after you paste the Pinpoint API key and subdomain under Settings > Integrations > Pinpoint. Register it in Pinpoint under Company > Profile > Webhooks.

The application's custom fields update with the score, qualification and integrity score, and the Assessment Report Link opens the full Xobin report.

Steps to Integrate Pinpoint with Xobin

01Configure the Xobin Assessment stage in Pinpoint

Log in to Pinpoint and go to Settings > Templates > Hiring Workflows.
Edit an existing workflow or click + Create New.
Name the workflow something identifiable, for example "Xobin Assessment Workflow".
Add a new stage named exactly Xobin Assessment (this naming is mandatory).

02Create assessment qualification tags

Go to Settings > Tag Management.
Click + New Tag Category and name it Xobin Assessment (mandatory naming).
Under this category create two tags: Assessment: Passed and Assessment: Failed.

03Enable the Pinpoint API and generate a key

Go to Settings > Integrations > Apps > Pinpoint API.
Click ADD, then + Create New.
Name the key (for example "Xobin Assessment") and enable these scopes:
- Application: Read, Write
- Custom Attributes: Read, Write, Delete
- Custom Fields: Read, Write, Delete
- Job: Read
Click Create API Key and copy it.

04Add the API key to Xobin and generate the webhook

In Xobin go to Settings > Integrations > Pinpoint.
Click the arrow to expand, then Edit.
Paste the API key and enter your Pinpoint subdomain, for example yourcompany.pinpointhq.com.
A webhook URL is generated. Copy it.

05Register the webhook in Pinpoint

Navigate to Company > Profile > Webhooks.
Click + New Webhook and paste the webhook URL from Xobin.
Enable the event Application stage changed.
Click Create Webhook.

06Verify custom fields in Pinpoint

Go to Settings > Custom Fields > Job/Application and confirm these fields exist:

Job custom field: Xobin Assessment (dropdown to select the assessment when creating a job post).
Application custom fields: Assessment Name, Assessment Status, Assessment ID, Qualification, Assessment Report Link, Completed Time, Integrity Score, Overall Score.

07Trigger the assessment invite

Move a candidate to the Xobin Assessment stage in Pinpoint.
This fires the webhook and sends the assessment invitation automatically.

08Review assessment reports

After completion the custom fields on the application are updated with results.
An Assessment: Passed or Assessment: Failed tag is added automatically.
Click the report link for a detailed breakdown of performance.
