Why integrate Lever with Xobin?

Integrating Lever with Xobin combines Lever's applicant tracking with Xobin's advanced skill assessments. You can automatically assign assessments to candidates at different pipeline stages, track progress and view detailed performance reports, all within Lever. Connecting the platforms saves time, removes manual tasks and gives you deeper insight into candidate ability, making hiring faster and more data-driven.

Steps to Integrate Lever with Xobin

01Enable the integration in Xobin

• Log in to Xobin and navigate to the Settings page.
• Open the Integrations tab and locate Lever in the list of ATS options.
• Click Generate API Key and confirm the prompt.
• If you are already signed in to Lever you are redirected to the scope confirmation page; log in if prompted and accept the required permissions.
• Return to Xobin Settings to access the generated API key.

02Configure Lever stages in Xobin

• Click Configure Lever Stages under the API key section.
• A modal opens showing your Lever pipeline stages.
• Click Add Stage, select a stage and choose an assessment to link to it.
• The integration auto-generates a tag for that stage.
• Use the plus icon near the assessment dropdown to add multiple assessments to the same stage.
• Repeat for other stages and click Save Changes.

03Configure Lever for the integration

• In Lever go to Settings > Integrations and API.
• Open the Webhook tab and enable the webhook for stage changes.
• Open the job posting you want to use the integration on.
• Paste the tags generated in Xobin into the Tags section of the job posting. They are applied automatically when an opportunity moves to the associated stage.

04Manage candidate assessments in Lever

• Add a new candidate opportunity to a job position.
• Move the opportunity to the Xobin-linked stage.
• The assessment tag and a note appear automatically on the candidate's profile.

05View assessment results in Lever

Once the candidate completes the assessment you will see two tags:

• Completion tag: indicates the assessment is complete.
• Score tag: displays the candidate's performance level.

A note also appears with the completion date, qualification status, overall percentage score and a link to the detailed Xobin report covering skill analysis, proctoring data, section-wise performance and candidate responses.
