Steps to Integrate Lever with Xobin

Streamline your hiring process by integrating Xobin with Lever! This integration allows you to seamlessly manage assessments, track candidate progress, and access assessment results directly within Lever. Follow the steps below to set up the integration:

Step 1: Enable the Integration in Xobin

• Log in to your Xobin dashboard and navigate to the Settings page.
• Click on the Integrations tab and locate the Lever integration from the list of ATS options.
• Click Generate API Key to initiate the integration :
  1. A confirmation prompt will appear—click OK.
  2. If you’re already logged in to Lever, you’ll be redirected to the scope confirmation page. Log in if prompted, and accept the required permissions.
• Return to the Xobin Settings page to access the generated API key.

Step 2: Configure Lever Stages in Xobin

• In Xobin, click the Configure Lever Stages button under the API key section.
• A modal will open showing the pipeline stages in Lever.
• Click Add Stage to start linking assessments:
  1. Select a stage from your Lever pipeline.
  2. Choose an assessment from the dropdown menu to link it.
  3. The integration will auto-generate a tag for the stage.
• To add multiple assessments to the same stage, click the plus icon near the assessment dropdown.
• Repeat these steps to link assessments to other stages.
• Click Save Changes to finalize and save your configurations.

Step 3: Configure Lever for the Integration

• Log in to your Lever account and navigate to Settings > Integrations and API.
• Open the Webhook tab and enable the webhook for stage changes.
• Go to the Job Posting for which you want to use the assessment integration.
• Paste the tags generated in Xobin into the Tags section of the job posting. These tags will automatically be applied when an opportunity is moved to the associated stage.

Step 4: Manage Candidate Assessments in Lever

• Add a new candidate opportunity to a job position in Lever.
  1. Example: Add a candidate to the "Python Developer" job


• Move the opportunity to the Xobin-linked stage.


• The assessment tag and a note will automatically appear in the candidate’s profile.

Step 5: View Assessment Results in Lever

• Once the candidate completes the assessment, you’ll see two tags:
  1. Completion Tag: Indicates the assessment is complete.
  2. Score Tag: Displays the candidate’s performance score level.
• A note will also appear with:
  1. Assessment completion date
  2. Qualification status
  3. Overall percentage score
  4. A link to the detailed Xobin report
• Click on the link to access a comprehensive report, which includes:
  1. Skill analysis
  2. Proctoring data
  3. Section-wise performance breakdown
  4. Candidate responses and scores
