Bartender Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of beverages, including cocktails, mocktails, beers, wines, and spirits, according to established recipes and standards. .
- Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing recommendations, taking orders, and ensuring a positive experience.
- Ensure that the bar area is kept tidy and orderly by disinfecting surfaces, washing glasses, and stocking and replenishing supplies.
- Adhere to all safety and hygiene regulations, including proper handling and storage of alcohol, sanitation procedures, and responsible service practices.
- Monitor bar inventory levels and place orders as needed to ensure adequate supplies are available.
- Handle cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently, processing payments and reconciling cash drawers at the end of each shift.
- Collaborate with other team members, including servers, kitchen staff, and management, to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
- Stay informed about current beverage trends, new products, and promotions, and incorporate them into the menu offerings and promotional activities.
- Provide assistance and support to other areas of the establishment as needed, including hosting, bussing tables, and assisting with special events.
Administration Manager Skills and Requirements
- Prior experience as a bartender or in a similar role in the hospitality industry.
- Knowledge of mixology techniques, beverage recipes, and drink presentation.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service abilities, with the capacity to interact politely and professionally with guests.
