Steps to Integrate SmartRecruiters with Xobin
Set up the SmartRecruiters and Xobin integration in a few simple steps.
Setting Up the Integration
- Log in to your Xobin account.
- Navigate to Settings → Integrations, search for SmartRecruiters, and click Connect.
- Click Open SmartRecruiters to continue.
- In SmartRecruiters, search for Xobin and open the Xobin app.
- Click Connect and review the required permissions.
- Click Allow and Continue to approve access.
- You’ll be redirected to the Xobin sign-in page, log-in to your account.
- Review the requested scopes and permissions, then click Allow Access.
- Once approved, you’ll be redirected back to SmartRecruiters, confirming successful integration.
Inviting Candidates to an Assessment
Seamlessly send or automate Xobin skill assessments within SmartRecruiters to evaluate candidates directly in your hiring workflow.
Method 1: Send Assessment from a Job (Manual)
- Go to Jobs and open the relevant job.
- Select a candidate and open their profile.
- Scroll to the Assessments section and click Order Assessments.
- Choose the assessment, confirm, and click Send.
Method 2: Inline Assessment During Job Application
- Go to Settings → Configuration → Hiring Process.
- Select the hiring process and click Manage Inline Assessments.
- Activate the required Xobin assessment.
- When a candidate applies via the careers page, they are automatically redirected to the assessment and returned to the application flow after completion.
Method 3: Assessment via Hiring Process Step (Skill Test)
- Go to Settings → Hiring Process and add a new step called Skill Test.
- Configure the step to use a Xobin assessment.
- Enable Auto Trigger to automatically send assessments when candidates reach this step.
- Move candidates to the Skill Test stage to trigger or manually send the assessment.
Viewing Assessment Results
Access real-time scores, completion status, and detailed Xobin performance reports directly from the candidate’s profile in SmartRecruiters.
- Open the job and select the assessed candidate.
- Under Assessments, view the completion status and score.
- Click View Attachment to access Xobin’s detailed assessment report, including skill analysis and performance insights.
