Electrician Duties and Responsibilities
- Set up, maintain and repair electrical systems and equipment in commercial, industrial, and domestic sectors. .
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and electrical code specifications to determine the layout and installation of electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment.

- Maintain accurate records of electrical work performed, including materials used, time spent, and any necessary documentation.
- Inspect electrical systems, components, and equipment to identify defects, hazards, or malfunctions, and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Stay updated on industry trends, advancements, and changes in electrical codes and regulations to ensure compliance and provide the best service to clients.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns, answering questions, and explaining electrical issues and solutions in a clear and understandable manner.
- Collaborate with supervisors and project managers to plan and prioritize electrical work, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Train and mentor apprentices and junior electricians, providing guidance and support in their professional development.

Electrician Skills and Requirements
- An apprenticeship program or vocational training in electrical work is recommended, but a high school diploma or its equivalent is sufficient.
- Deep familiarity with circuits, wiring, and electrical systems
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and electrical diagrams
- Proficiency in using various hand and power tools for electrical installations and repairs
