Xobin Research is the scientific division of Xobin. We are the in-house team of psychometricians, industrial–organisational psychologists, and machine-learning researchers responsible for the design, validation, and auditing of every assessment and AI interview that Xobin ships.

The research artifact the lab exists to build and validate is the Xobin Capability Graph (XCG) — a Functions, Skills, and Outcomes model that underpins every score Xobin returns. Everything we do — validation, proctoring, bias auditing, AI bias auditing — is in service of keeping XCG accurate, fair, and current.

Our mandate is narrow and specific: make sure that when a hiring manager reads a Xobin score, that number is measurable, defensible, and fair. We treat a score the way a lab treats a measurement — with a stated method, a known error, and evidence any customer can request.

We work across four disciplines: validation, proctoring, bias, and AI bias. Each has its own page on this site describing how we approach it, what we measure, and what we publish.
